Viewing backup images
I've always been able to view everything in a particular backup job by simply clicking on a particular backup, such as Documents (D)_full_b3_s1_v1. Lately however, the following happens: When I click on a backup job, I get another window listing all previous backups, with "Please locate the last volume of the backup" as the title of the window. I click on the last volume and I get the same message again, as many as 5 or 6 times. I will then finally be able to see the file in the backup. However I will sometimes get a new window listing previous backups, with "Locate the volume with number '1'." If I then click the backup I'm interested in, the next window changes to "Locate the volume with number '2'." It will go on and on thru 3 and 4 ad 5, etc. until I just give up. This used to work very well but no more. I even deleted my backup jobs and started fresh, but with the same result. Any ideas?? Thanks!!

I think that removing the .tib cache is all that's needed... I'd go this route first - it's easy enough

If you're having the "Please locate the last volume..." issue when opening backups in Windows Explorer - try deleting all the files in C:\Users\[your_username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database
It's intended for a slightly different error behavior, but found it works for this too (in most cases). If not, then the database repair mentioned by Steve should do the trick.
