Offline Activation state gets lost in Company Network

Thread needs solution

Once I've activated the license offline succesful, the message activation required appears when I'm in the Office and connecting to the Network.

Isn't there an entry in Config or registration files that keeps the state in activated, once it has been done offline?

Thanks in advance and regards

Sascha, welcome to these User Forums.

If you have activated your Acronis software offline and this has been successful, then I would expect that activation to stick.

I would recommend opening a Support Case with Acronis directly for this issue as this may be an issue with their activation servers or the way they respond when an offline activated computer is shown to be online?

Have the same issue when using the off-line activation as well as will not active online too on 3 pc's

Offline, if you go to web site upload your activation file and download the licence file it creates and then use the offline activation to add this to your PC. It looks fine, however it then drops back to activation back to the 30 days.

I have tried removing 2018 and using the cleaning tool and removed left over folders and any reg entries and have the same issue.

One thing I've yet to try is block license_activation.exe in the firewall and then try a offline activation.

%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Acronis\TrueImageHome\license_activator.exe

Also have a support ticket & still wait for information other than type in your licence code from them.

Yong Ra, if you have this problem with activation, then please raise a Support Ticket for it.

@Moss Are you able to share the solution they gave you?

I have the same issue while connected to the corporate network. Basically offline activation succeeds if I disconnect the network cable, but Acronis reverts to "activation required" on subsequent restarts of Acronis with the network cable connected (see Attached word doc). I've repeated this several times. So a network connection failure results in reverting the activation status :-(  I just completed a chat session with support, and sending them the required followup/support info. Based on the output of http://dl2.acronis.com/u/kb/AcronisCloudUS2Check.exe  it appears the cause might be port 44445 blocked by the corporate firewall (my local firewall is off for testing this), I thought it might be lack of web-proxy support.

I only need to use Acronis on this system for local disk to disk backup (no cloud backup).  It is quite frustrating that the activation doesn't stick.  I am software engineer and work on network management products, so extra dissapointing to see a basic license/activation check flaw like this.
