Scheduled backup does not start itself

For quite some time the scheduled backups daily 4:00 pm worked without problem. Since about a month or more the scheduled backup doesn't start reliably.

What I have done:

Gone through the backup configuration and saved the options again - did not help

When I open the dashboard and keep it open while the scheduled time comes, the backup starts normally.

Also manually starting the backup works.

What I also have noticed - the Acronis symbol in the taskbar was visible earlier when Acronis was active writing a backup. Going over it with the mouse showed the % of the job done at the moment. This symbol does not show up any more since some time.

Any clue where the problem might be?

Franz, the initial suggestion here would be to perform a repair install of ATI 2019 as described by KB 60915: Acronis True Image: repairing program settings - as this should resolve most common issues or any corruption in the application or settings etc.

Method 2. Rebuild all settings

has worked for several days now.

The small icon indicating an ongoing backup has not returned but I can live with that.
