Recovery of Existing Backup
I am in the process of recovering from a technicolor disk crash, and fortunately have 1) A backup that ran the day before and 2) A USB drive with the Acronis Boot loaded.
Before I reboot into the program, I would like to know:
1) Is this the only way to recover backed up files
2) Will I be presented with a list of image files on my NAS to select what I want to restore?
I haven't done this in years and need assistance.
TIA

Thank you for responding.
I am attempting to Restore Files and Folders backup to a recently set up Windows OS disk
The PC, and the NAS with the backup folders are all on a wired Ethernet.
I built the rescue media using the simple creation tool.
I successfully booted into the Recovery Manager, but could not locate the NAS drive on the network tree. No NAS drives (I have 6) were found. I could, however, see a USB-connected DROBO RAID device, so I think I am going to restart Windows and copy the Acronis TIB files to it and to another USB-connected HD and run from there.
I am also going to try double-clicking on the backup TIB file in Windows Explorer.
I have used the recovery bootable disk before to clone a drive from an NAS backup, so I know the process works.
