True Image 2015 TISHELL.DLL crashes Windows Explorer in Vista
I've been having an issue lately with the VSS maximum size resetting itself to unbounded and filling up the hard drive. This last time, when I resized the shadow store, I went on to search for something and found that Windows kept crashing on an extended search. Using ShellExView, I've determined that it only happens when certain functions of TISHELL.DLL are enabled.
If the Acronis Secure Zone is enabled, Explorer will crash while doing the search.
If the Acronis True Image Shell Context Menu Extension is enabled, Explorer will crash when right-clicking on a file in explorer.
Both extensions above are from the TISHELL.DLL file. I'm using Acronis True Image 2015 on a Windows Vista machine.
Is there a way to fix TISHELL.DLL?
Do I really need these extensions to continue using ATI?
Will a reinstall fix the problem and will I need to reconfigure all my backup schemes to do so?
Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
Andy
