Is there a utility to completely remove True Image 2011?

Thread needs solution

Mine is corrupt and will not uninstall or repair. Otherwise I will have to use another backup system!

If all else fails, try Revo Uninstaller: www.revouninstaller.com You can get a 30 day trial with the pro version, but the freeware version shoould be fine. It uses the program uninstaller, and then will clean out the directories and registry. I have never had a problem with Acronis that way, but it has cleaned out broken programs, and ones which are known not to properly clean up after themselves. The default level should be fine. Do NOT select the highest level unless you monitor it very carefully.

Thank you for your reply - obviously I have not set up this forum correctly as I received no notification that you had replied - however I tried Revo but it revealed too many, 686, dubious registry entries for me to safely proceed. I am tempted to download another version, 2012, to see if it would sort out the installation but I think I will wait a while.
Thanks again

Dave there is indeed a cleanup utility:

If you try it, pay VERY CLOSE attention to the instructions, particularly not to REBOOT your PC until you've checked those registry entries.

Thank you tomf for your valuable contribution. It appears to have worked completely this time. And this time I received an email!

Thanks
