What is build number of Software currently available for download?

Everywhere I've looked Acronis True Image is the most recommended back-up software for Home users. I had had issues with ATI 8.0 so never upgraded. I'm again in the market for a backup software and am considering ATI 2010.

But after reading the forum, I see there are real issues with build 6029. I really don't want another snafu liek I had with version 8.

If I were to purchase today online, will I receive the broken build 6029 or the apparently more stable build 5055?

good question.
First off I didn't realize that 6029 was less stable than the prior release 5055
guess I have some reasearch to do as i did update.

Acronis True Image 2010 (English) Build # 6029 released on November 03, 2009
only makes sense that is what the would give you but I don't know that for a fact.

To tell what version you are currently running click "help" then "about"
If you do not HAVE a "help" menu item hit the "alt" key and it will appear.

This thread http://forum.acronis.com/forum/5475 says how to purchase and be able to download build 5055 (see post #24).
Once you register, you can access your account and see which version you would be downloading.
You will also be able to download a standalone bootable-media builder, so if you want you can make your images from the recovery media.
