BSOD about 10 seconds after backup C: drive request
I upgraded to ATIH 2012 from Acronis Personal 8.0 yesterday. The install worked well, and I was able to activate the software.
When I try to take a partition image of my C: drive after about 10 seconds I get the following BSOD:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
The problem seems to be caused by the following file: senfllt.sys
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer, if this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed, if this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need. If problems continue, disable or remove any newly Installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing, If you need to use safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced startup options, and then select Safe Mode.

This also happens when I try and backup one of my other partitions as well. I would be pleased to receive any help on this.
Incidentally, the install has overwritten the original Acronis 8, as I can no longer start it.
I am using XP (32bit) with SP3 installed.

I was getting the exact same 'senfilt.sys' bsdo shortly after starting the image backup, and also have the SoundMAXPnP drivers installed.
Disabling the SoundMAXPnP driver in Computer Management - Device Manager before starting the imaging process had fixed the problem.

Acronis indicates that the problem has been fixed in the latest build of 2012.

Not fixed yet, Pat L. I installed Acronis 2012 build 7133 on my XPSP3 machine today (replaced Acronis 2011). I got the same BSOD. I picked up the "senfilt.sys" module problem from the BSOD screen. I tracked down it's relationship to SoundMax, located the file in my system driver's folder, renamed it to "senfilt.old", and rebooted. I was then able to do a successful image of all my system partitions, albeit without any PC sound. After the imaging completed, I downloaded and installed another version of the SoundMax driver (from the Asus web site). My sound is back, obviously, but I won't know until my next image if that fixed the problem. I do know that build 7133 did NOT fix the problem (today is 7/29/2012). BTW, I have no problem with Acronis 2012 build 7133 on my three Win7 PCs, but none of them use the SoundMax driver.

You might want to try the beta of 2013. Make sure you have a backup to go back to if 2013 beta doesn't work for you.

Thanks for the tip. I don't even see the 2013 beta on the Acronis site (but that’s ok). Tell ya what, I have five 2012 TIH licensed products (only using four right now), which are great at what I need them to do...emergency restores (I've had more than one opportunity to test the water). Temporarily renaming the "senfilt.sys" file on my one XPSP3 machine is not a big deal for me (I'm a gifted trouble-shooter...hence the need for occasional emergency restores). I feel a lot safer doing that than messing with an Acronis beta product. Acronis has enough bugs in its retail products...I'm not betting the farm on its beta products, but thanks anyway for the tip.

I am a new user of the software and immediately I have the same problem with BSOD and a reference to the senfilt.sys. I am willing to take a chance on the beta version as I prefer to clone my disks as a back-up mechanism but I also want to continue to use the sound-max system on my Dell PC. Like Carl J I cannot find the location of the 2013 beta product.
