120GB disk Fat32 won't show up in Rescue Media Builder. Restrictions?

Thread needs solution

Hi, I have an 120GB external disk that I have formatted in Linux to Fat32...
Is there any restrictions for disks that Acronis Rescue Media Builder can be buildt on?

When I have the disk plugged in and start up Rescue Media Builder,
the device won't show up in the list of devices to build it on?
I have checked the disk info on the device in Linux and Windows, and both say it's Fat32.

You should be able to create rescue media on a CD/DVD, or a USB flash drive. You can only build an ISO image (file) and store it on the FAT32 external drive. You can not use the external 120GB hard as the Rescue Media, hence it does not show up as a destination. Have you tried to use the create ISO option in Rescue Media Builder and then have it save the ISO image (file) to the external drive?

Ok, I understand, but is there a reason to why Acronis can't do this?

Also, is there another version of Acronis that can do this job?

Thanks in Advance.
