Registering trial versions that are saved in backups

Thread needs solution

This must be a common concern but I could not find an easy answer. I used the trial version on a new computer. Made system images of various stages as I loaded and tweaked software. Now after 3 weeks I have purchased and registered my copy.

If.. I should desire to revert back to one of 4 system images made prior to purchasing.. will I have an option to make it a full version at that time? I am assuming I can but would be really unhappy if in 6 months I want to start over with a clean operating system and could not

There was a dialog box that came up when I registered about making new DVD boot disks.. that has me somewhat concerned about the usability of my "old trial version" copies.

And perhaps as a future idea.. have your Acronis software go into the archived backups and register retroactively those old copies

The entering of the purchased serial number into the whatever installed trial copy you have will convert a trial copy into a full legal copy so you have no concern. If you restore your system, input the purchased serial into the installation.

Input the purchased serial into the current installed copy and make a new bootable media CD afterwards. You have no further need for the trial CD as it is limited in its functions. After making the new CD, be sure and test a few sample restores to make sure your system sees all your drives.

I always mark the Version, build and serial number onto the CD with a Sharpie type pen.
