Trial version can't connect to activation server. Will that continue if I buy?

Every day soon after start up (or restart) for a week now ATI 2013 trial version presents this pop up:
"Failed to connect to the activation server. Check your internet connection."
I have Windows 7 Pro with default Windows Firewall, and my internet connection works fine.

Does this pop up somehow pertain only to the trial version, or does it pertain to my PC setup?
True Image backup works fine and I would like to buy it, but if it is likely that I will have to see this annoying pop up every morning, then True Image is perhaps not meant for me. Maybe ATI will even eventually stop working, unless it can connect to that server?
Is this pop up normal, or is there anything I should do? There is nothing in the Windows event log.

I didn't know the trial version even attempted to connect to the "activation" server. Can you post a screen capture the next time this happens?

Attached. The screen shot was easy to accomplish, because the pop up is inevitably reproduced at each and every startup or restart.
Hope there is a solution. I have selected True Image after a thorough comparison.

Thanks for taking time to post the screenshot. I have alerted Acronis to this thread.

Was this a new install of Acronis, with no other Acronis products installed?

I too had the this issue - when I put in the new license all was OK so I would not worry to much about what the trial version is saying in this aspect.

Unfortunately that popup was still there this morning.
But the text has changed, being now:
"Too many connections."
