True Image Home 2012: Custom backup scheme? Create full, 4 incremental, then delete all and start over?

Thread needs solution

Is there any way to make a custom back scheme in Acronis True Image Home 2012 that creates a full image, then a set number of incremental images, then starts the process over automatically deleting the previous full image along with its corresponding incremental archives?

Take a look at Grover's Guide (Thanks, Grover). http://forum.acronis.com/forum/28705

Thank you! I have one question though, what actually defines a "version chain" though?

Version chain is the term Acronis applies to a "set" of backup files. (For example, a full with 5 incrementals would be a version chain.)

Thanks MVP James for the plug in post #1.
Yes, you can set up your backup scheme as illustrated in figure 11-Inc of the recommended link.
Change the 6 and 4 examples to fit your needs. Set the option to keep only 1 version chain if you want to keep only 1 chain of backups.

Be informed that TI will create the new replacement backup before deleting the oldest version chain so you will need to allow disk space room for that short term need for temporary extra space.
