No "Edit settings" Option on 1 of 2 computers running TI 2013
I am using True Image 2013 (with Plus Package) and have the following TWO issues:
ISSUE 1: I have two Dell computers – a D820 running Win7 Ultimate 32 bit, and an M4600 running Win7 Ultimate 64 bit. The install of TI 2013 (with Plus Pack) software was done from the same software disk. When I launch TI on both computers they load with the same “Backup and restore” tab highlighted, and the list of completed backup jobs shows below. When I highlight any backup job ON THE M4600 and right-click, I get a menu of choices that includes “Edit settings” – with a pencil/gear icon to the left of that choice. When I highlight any backup job ON THE D80 and right-click, I get a menu of choices that includes “Recreate backup settings” – with the same pencil/gear icon to the left of this (different) choice! The D820 offers ONLY “Recreate backup setting”; the M4600 offers ONLY : “Edit settings””. All the other menu choices available on right-clicking are otherwise the same.
ISSUE 2: The reason the above is problematic (and was noticed) is that on the D820, EVERY backup I define and ran after installing TI 2013 (w Plus Pack) to the D820, is missing the “Comments” I carefully crafted to differentiate/explain what each subsequent backup contains. The ONLY backup on the D820 that kept the comments was the first/original backup, which, as always, I did as a “cold image” (i.e. using the Rescue Disk – without the software the installed, as I want only the OEM shipped configuration and software on my first image).
(See attachments for screen shots)
All the above were “Disk” images – Build 5551. WTH is going on!
