2012 bootable media

Thread needs solution

After Products/registration I started to download 2012 bootable media and noticed (278.12 MB) it's bigger than the originial build. My 2010 bootable media is 76.56 MB. Does 2012 have to be installed or is there some mistake on my part? TIA

That is the correct size for the bootable media, and no you do not install it, just burn the image from the ISO.

Thanks, James F .

PS~I've been using your "What I tell my friends:" alot.
Thanks, again.

Noob Question? I've burned the 2012 bootable media several ways and still can't get it to boot. Other boot disks work. What am I doing wrong? TIA

If in Windows 7, you don't need any third-party software. Right-click the .iso and select "Burn disc image".

If you installed ATI, you can use a command within ATI to create bootable Rescue Media to either CD-R or USB flash drive.

Rather than just telling us it doesn't work, be specific about what doesn't work, what you see, where it fails, any error messages.

Hi tuttle.
I just needed to get on desktop and use Nero. I need to take .iso 101 again.

Thanks

In Windows 7 you don't need Nero or any third-party software, as ISO burning is built-in.
