[DUPLICATE] Build 6131 - Online Backup does not conclude

Thread needs solution

Online backup got stuck at 98% one week ago. Since then the UI indicates that the backup is "consolidating". In this stage trueimagehomeservice.exe still uses 50% of CPU time, memory usage varies.

Since one week True Image Onlline Backup does not create any internet traffic, I therefore do not understand, which kind of consolidation could take place.

I can reproduce the problem: If I end trueimagehomeservice.exe, the backup will start from the beginning and will get stuck at 98% again.

The backup was created with the earlier version of TIH 2012 and worked then without problems.

Is there a problem with the programme or will I have to wait for more days?

Issue resolved here.

I am running ATH 2012 build 7119 and have exactly the same issue. My weekly updates to the online backup that used to work now gets to 98% complete with the message "consolidating" and does not ever conclude (I've waited 2 days).

Please would someone look at this or respond? There are a lot of people reprting this problem.

Why do we have to PM you folks, if there is a solution, just put it in the forums and lets us implement it.
I too am having the same problem since upgrading to 2013.
cannot suspend or update my large online backup. its been 2 days and nothing is happening.

Does anyone have a resolution for this yet, I have had a ticket open for days on end and the Agent although initially very helpful has since pulled a runner on me once I confronted him with these forum post showing that there is clearly a problem.

Any advise would be helpful as my local backups are not queued behind the cloud backup

I can confirm that, as Anton reported above, my problem of ATIH2012 hanging at 98% consolidating has been resolved with his assistance. It did take some time to get there but if your problem is the same as mine, he may be able to help.

My symptoms were that the online backups were (most times) being carried out OK (i.e. modified and new files were being updated) but that the application never finished successfully but got stuck at 98%. After installing the fix Anton supplied, I had a different problem - the online back ups did not start. I investigated this and found that, provided that I excluded my large .pst files (with all my MS Outlook email data) from the scheduled back ups, it worked perfectly. So for some weeks now my backups have been running without a hitch although I am having to use a different backup solution for my Outlook data. I am hoping that Acronis will solve the problem affecting my .pst file backups before I have to decide whether or not to extend my subscription next year.

Good luck.

Hi

Thanks for this. After unselecting folders which contained outlook .pst files it all started working prefectly. To be fair thise folders also contained other system files however the really important stuff is actually being backed up now
