Another Build, Another Bug

This is so tiresome. I've installed a brand new ATI Home 2010 (v13.0.6053), and had problems running Pre- and Post-Commands on Windows 7 Professional.
As you know, I've published these scripts before, and others are apparently using them (and, I've updated them to a new version for Windows 7 and Vista).
The specific problem: I have put the scripts in a folder in C:\Users\Public\Acronis Scripts & Logs, and ensured that all Users have Modify permissions through the path and all files.
The program was installed under the Administrator's account, for all users. When I run as a User, and use the Default options, the Post command launches an XCOPY command, which immediately returns...yet the XCOPY still runs, making the copy of the backup! However, if it change it from the Default options to "Use custom commands," the script runs correctly!
Also, if the program is installed under the Administrator's account, everytime it runs under a User's account, it requires a UAC permission to run. (I'm going to reinstall it as a User, and see if that same inconvenience appears; it would be irrelevant under the Administrator's account, but might still be required if run from a different Users account than the user under which it was installed. I'll report on my results later.
