Is small difference in partition size important on restore/recover operations

Thread needs solution

I have a minor difference in my C: drive partition relative to the tib files I have saved. Had to recreate the C: drive partition

The current partition size is 149.3 GB and all my tibs are reporting a size of 149.4 ?

Does this matter at all ?

If you create and restore full disk images (which therefore include all partitions, even hidden ones) then you don't need to worry about it.

If you backup only the C: partition, you could be in for a rude surprise if you ever need to recover after a disk failure.

TimInAz,
From your signatrure, your XP system may be only a one partition disk or it may be more. Just make sure by looking at your partition arrangement when viewed in Windows DiskManagement Graphical View.

Here is an example of selecting the disk option backup from inside Windows.
