How can I see what files are backed up on a particular version

Thread needs solution

I'm running File level backup based on Differential backup cycle.

If I "view" a version from the timeline I appear to see all the data on my PC that I've requested to be backed up. If I select a particular file and select "View Versions" every version I have is displayed. As the file in question hasn't been altered for over 2 years I would only expect to see this file on a full backup (taken every 14 versions).

From the file sizes shown on WinExplorer and backup elapsed time it is obvious that a full backup is not being taken each time.

Is there any way I can find out what changed files a particular backup version contains ?

Greetings,

I don't believe there is a way to do this in Acronis...

Certain versions of windows also have some of these features. However, I can recommend the following.

You can WinDiff two files, folders, directories, etc to see what has changed.

WinMerge is a newer offering.

Many thanks for the suggestion, guess it wasn't really what I was after though (my fault for not being specific enough !). This query arose whilst I was considering "pruning" my backup versions, I just thought it would be beneficial to see what files were on a backup version before I deleted it.
