Recovery after disk failure

I have to confess, I am not an Acronis expert, but for the sake of surviving I need your help! I am running W7 and have a notebook with integrated recovery partition. Now the disk is dying quickly! I have a full image backup, at least I hope it will work, because of the early (creeping!) diosk problems. I have to replace the disk by a brand new one, which is currently done. The computer (Dell) has a priinstalled W7! Can I safely assume, that I will be able to recover, using thew full image backup, when loading it to the new, empty disk? Thanks for helping, Heinz

If you included all partitions of the disk in the backup (or the whole disk) you can assume it. But you can't be sure until you actually try it. E.g. even if backup is good, bootable media won't load, won't recognize your hardware, etc.
