Dear Experts,

We have Backup and Recovery 11, shortly we are going to install Exchange 2010 on Windows 2008 R2. For the backup of information store of exchange 2010, I need to know how I can use Backup & Recovery to take the backup and truncate the exchange 2010 logs.

Do we need to buy something additional specifically for exchange 2010 ? OR with current product I can do the required task.

Please assist me for this case.

You can upgrade to 11.5 and enable "VSS Full backup" in options http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11.5/index.html#12865.h… in order to truncate Exchange logs, or upgrade to 11.5 and buy additionally agent for exchange http://www.acronis.com/backup-recovery/enterprise.html#agents-microsoft… that allows more backup schemes and granular restore.
