Backup Spanding more than one Hard Drive. ?

Thread needs solution

Spanding more than one Hard Drive. ?

I need to incremental backup a HD that is 2Tb with 1.5Tb of data. I want to backup to USB External hard drives. My external hard drives for the back up are only 1Tb. I have three of the the 1tb External hard drives.

I could not find out how to tell Acronis True Image how to span (?) the backup over the two drives for the initial backup (which will be a full backup) and then the third HD as I do more incremental backups.

Can ATI span two or more drives? How?

I'm testing this with a small backup that does not have enough room to complete.

During the backup task creation, when selecting the destination, you will receive an error message stating the destination may not contain enough room for the backup files. You can still save this task.

Seems to work okay, but when double clicking on the first file of the backup, a message says the file is corrupt. When double clicking on the second file of the back, it requests the location of the first file and then opens okay.

When the second backup (incremental) is run, it does go to the correct (second) drive and works okay.

Although this seems to work, I would not trust a split backup of this size with my data in case of catastrophic failure and recovery of my primary drive.

Testing with 2013 build 6514.
