Restore Hangs after 15 minutes

Trying to restore many GB using Explorer copy and paste. After about 15 minutes explorer hangs/crashes. If we select smaller amounts the restore completes correctly. Platform is Window 2003 with 4GB RAM restoring from USB drive. Is there a better way? I think we're on version 11 with latest patches. Sorry for the NOOB question but just got assigned this task and I'm not as familiar with Acronis as I'd like to be

Yes, there are problems with restoring large amount of data using copy-paste. It's better to restore using program interface. When selecting data to recover, switch to 'files' if backup if of disk/volumes type, and select necessary folders from the tree (or use catalog)
