Log files are not visible in True Image 2013 Plus Pack

Thread needs solution

On two separate PC running True Image Plus Pack 2013, there is nothing shown when View Logs is selected. All log types are selected and the relevant backup task.

William,

Do you know if this happened before the Plus Pack was installed?

Are the builds at the same level with the Plus Pack and TI 2013?

Which build are you using?

Have you tried running a repair install of 2013.

I can't say that this happened before Plus Pack was installed as it was installed at he same time as ATI 2013. The builds on each machine are 6514. I have not tried a repair install, but will do so now.

Are you running the WinPE version of the Rescue Media?

A repair installation on each of the machines did not solve the problem on either machine. The rescue media is created by the ATI 2013 Plus Pack application. How does rescue media creation impact the lack of out put from log files for the backup activity?

I think James might have thought you were using the recovery media with your mention of Plus Pack, as from within Windows the PP works behind the scenes (so to speak).

If you uninstall or don't install the Plus Pack do you then see logs?

Have you installed for single user or any user?

It might be worthwhile uninstalling, running the Acronis Cleaner, reboot and then reinstall. Make sure you follow the instructions about rebooting

I should have asked which OS you are using, if W7, navigate to c:\program data\acronis\trueimage home\logs and see if there are any files there.

Program Data is normally a hidden system folder, so you'll need to unhide it or use a file manager that can natively see all files and folders.
