T! 2013 Stops Responding

Thread needs solution

I'm probably not understanding something. I just upgraded from TI 2011 to 2013. I ALWAYS do full backups, and do these to several external hard disks, so I have quite a few backups.

This was never a problem with TI2011. However, when I try to do a backup using 2013, it seems to want to go and find EVERY backup I've ever done. I start a new backup, give the backup a name and location. It seems to start working, then it begins to list ALL my old backups and I get a "TI has stopped working" message and it crashes.

What am I doing wrong? Thinkpad T510, Win 7 32 bit.

Do I need to delete the settings for the old backups? I don't want to delete the actual backup files, as I occasionally need to go back in time to find something a few days or weeks old.

There is an option to turn off searching for backups at startup.

Also, what build of 2013 are you running (5551 or 6514)?

The program still should not crash. You may want to consider doing a repair install from your installation file.
