File(s) Deleted on PC#1 are NOT Deleted on PC#2
As far as I can tell I have two computers sync'd, in that any files I add to one computer are automatically added to the second one.
However, I've just noticed that any files and/or folders that I delete on PC#1 are not being deleted on PC#2. Instead the file(s) are being restored back to PC#1. The same happens in reverse in that anything deleted on PC#2 is being restored on PC#2, rather than being deleted on PC#1.
I tried a chat/help session, but gave up after 15 minutes. I'll try again during the day (Pacific Time, Canada).
Any suggestions?
Thanks

While I can understand the thinking of not deleting the file on PC#2, I think the fact that it is restored on PC#1, after it has been deleted is my main issue.
I'm using the publicly released version. Syncs are not through the cloud.
I'll try support and update this thread with any remedies.

Colin B wrote:Many users of 2012/13 didn't expect Sync to delete the source file via Sync only for the 'copy' to be deleted if the source file was deleted.
In fact, that is the expected behaviour of a "Sync". In many backup tools going back many years, "Sync" means that contents are synchronized in both directions.
From what you're saying, it sounds as if many users would like a "Mirror" option, in which contents on the source disk are mirrored/copied to the backup destination. In a mirror operation, anything deleted from the backup location would not cause a deletion from source.
