Unintuitive Log

Thread needs solution

I have been using TI since Version 8 in a very rudimentary manner. I do full backups every week and purge the oldest backup.

All of the old backups continue to remain in the log. And if one forgets to delete the entry, it remains in the event log.

Is there a way that TI will automatically purge an event when it's been deleted from the disc? If not, it would be a useful feature. I have a lot of old entries but there is no way to tell which entries I deleted and which remain. Even a color coded system identifying green for active backups and red for removed backups would be helpful.

Also, when working with the log, the sort order will not allow me to look at the latest date and sort it by date whether it be a full backup, email backup, etc..

It would be nice to have a feature where I can view my backups in a chronoligical manner, independent of the type of backup it was. Rather than always grouping them together.

Hello samfla,

Thank you very much for reporting this to us, I will create a request to change Acronis True Image log files to make them more descriptive. Most probably our future versions will include these changes.

Let me know if you have any further suggestions or questions regarding our products.

Thank you.
