outlook 2010 does not start after acronis recovery

following a complete rebuild of my hard disk and new Installation of Office 2010 i did the Outlook recovery from my previous Outlook Acronis backup.
Outlook will not start properly.

From an IT perspective, the most effective method for rebuilding Outlook after a new install/back up or migration is to manually recreate the outlook profile, user account(s) and point them to a restored copy of a .PST. The full .PST.

If outlook 2010 won't start or hangs on "loading profile" forever, something is wrong with the way the profile was created or with the .PST file it's trying to open.
