ATI 2013 problem with Bootable disk
Hi.
I´m using ATI 2013 with Plus Pack, and created a Bootable Disk on my pendrive.
After that, I started my Bootable disk on my desktop computer and worked fine. After that, I started the same bootable disk on my notebook, but instead of working, it seems to be a problem. While on my Desktop I could see the images of the bootable disk, on my Notebook the images are distorted.
It seems to be a problem with UEFI, but my Notebook isn´t running UEFI. I installed my OS (Windows 8, and then 8.1 Preview) through Bios.
Now with the final release of Windows 8.1, I get the same problem.
Can you tell me why does it happen ?
The first two images are booting from my desktop and the other two are booting on my notebook.

Please, can you tell me why the bootable media created with ATI 2013 works on my desktop, and doesn´t work on my Notebook ? Both computers run Windows 8.1, and the bootable media works only on my Desktop when I boot from my pendrive ?

Just because it works on one, doesn't mean it's guaranteed to work on another. That's the issue with something that isn't supported.

In the third image, the acronis recovery media is booting uefi. Your laptop may have a hybrid bios/uefi mode to support booting either. Check your bios and see if it has a setting to boot csm (legacy) only. Try downloading the iso from under your account online, it is a newer build than the final installation build and includes more hardware support.

That's why.
Edit: Forgot to mention that the link is for 2014 version, however, since it isn't even compatible with 8.1 yet, 2013 and prior wouldn't be either...
Bought a license of ATI 2014 Premium, but the same issue. When will ATI 2014 be compatible with Windows 8.1 ?

thank you for your comments!
Since Windows 8.1 hasn't been released yet, it is not supported by current build 5560 of Acronis True Image 2014.
We are working on the implementation of Windows 8.1 support in upcoming updates of our products, but in any case these updates will be published after official release of Windows 8.1.
More information regarding operating systems supported in Acronis True Image 2014 you can get here.
Thank you for your understanding!
