Recover win2003 mbr to gpt

Thread needs solution

Hi!
I hope someone can help me....
I've backed-up a win2003 server (mbr, entire clone, from Windows 2003) to a .tib
Now i need to change the entire hw (yes, i've the universal restore!), and restore the image to a very more powerful server, BUT with a single 1tb GPT volume...
The restore process seems ok, i get no error....but the machine doesn't boot at all....after the post it reboots.
Any idea?

PS: yes, i've given the correct drivers during the restore.

Many thanks!

Windows 2003 doesn't support booting from GPT volume. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GUID_Partition_Table#Windows:_32-bit_versi… )
If the new server supports booting in BIOS mode, convert the volume to MBR before restore and restore it again.
