Hardware Requirements for TI echo 9.5 build 8076

I don't think any of the newer kernels work on that old of a Pentium CPU. The first manual I have says it needs a Pentium or higher and 256MB of RAM. A later manual says it needs 512MB.

I would've though a pentium is a pentium - so to speak. but as the months rolled on they just got faster. then pentium ii, iii etc.

I'll try and get a hold of some more memory and see if that gets it going. Even although the kernel panic is "cpu too old" - i dont know if i should take that at face value or if indeed it is indicative of something else. Hopefully memory.

I really should add that it does startup in safe mode. Only when i try to start the full version does the panic occur.
