Backup fails with some errors

" Link target was not backed up." happens when you backup up file tree where symbolic link (junction) to another folder exists. In this case the link target is not included in the backup and the warning is logged.To fix it, you can backup "c:\users\username\" folder instead of 'documents and settings'.
There is a known issue with error "Invalid usage" during backup or replication in 37687 build, it's fixed in 39795. I suggest to update.

Error code: 1008 is not actually an error here, it's just and information message and this will be fixed in the nearest update (it will be logged as information and without 'error' word).
