Wireless Mouse and Keyboard not working

Thread needs solution

I'm using Acronis True Image Build 6614 and was surprised to see that my popular wireless mouse and keyboard (Logitech M705 mouse and K800 keyboard) would not work when booting from the rescue disk I created with ATI v14 b6614.

Is there a command line I can add to load Logitech drivers?

Is there a hotfix coming?

I have had a similar problem with the mouse. A workable solution was to change the transmit/receive device (while the system is up) to a different usb port and wait a few seconds. That fixed it. My mouse and keyboard are Microsoft. No special drivers needed.

The logitech devices should still work with MS drivers (that is, with standard drivers and no logitech drivers)-- maybe not full functionality but the basics. Check the ATI user guide for startup switches you can use and how to use them. Sometimes it helps to specify usb=off so the BIOS or UEFI can handle the usb instead of the the linux on the ati bootCD.
