True Image Home 2013 fails to load

I have started to get problems with True Image home 2013. When I run the programme I get the usual start up screen with ‘Loading please wait’ but it just hangs and the programme stops responding. I have tried uninstalling the programme and reinstalling but it still won’t start.
I have been using true image for 2 years without problem, upgrading from 2012 to 2013 and I was going to upgrade again to 2014 but I am now loathe to do in case I get the same problem. My operating system is Windows 7 Professional.
Any ideas?

Still can't get the programme to run, as no help is forthcoming from Acronis I assume they don't read this forum. I have decided to cut my losses and purchase some new backup software from O&O Software, I have used their software before and found their technical support very helpful.
