Recovery Date Issues

Thread needs solution

Trying to do a recovery of a daily differential backup (True Image 2013) when I hit the Recover button it does not list the latest back ups (newest backup is 02/17/2014) it will only show backups till in November 2013. I cant find a way to show newer backups. ????

Performing the restore when booted from the user created TI Recovery CD is the preferred method of recovery.

Couple other options.
From within Windows Explorer, browse to the storeage folder and RIGHT click on the desired diff file.
AFter the right click, examine the resulting window very carefully. You should be offered a TrueImage option which has several opitions such as recovery and validate, etc.

Another opiton would be from inside TrueImge, use the "add backups option" and browse to the specific diff file and
you should be offered a "add to backup list" option.

Grover, thanks for the fast response, but I'm confused as to why you cannot recover from with-in True Image? The program gives you that option, but why does it not list the newest backup files to select from?
I tried option two, but that didn't work, when I select the backup tib file and choose the recovery option a screen pops up that tells me its searching for versions, then after a couple minutes it tells me "there is no previous versions" ???

If it helps I am doing a differential back up of art files ( the directory is 6 GB) I am not try to back up the whole directory, I am trying to go back in time an restoring a single older file that has been recently changed.
