Basic Actions: Creating and maintaining a cloud backup routine

Thread needs solution

I've got 250 GB of Acronis Cloud Storage that I want to use to back as much as possible as efficiently as possible.

I am currently using 107 GB out of an internal hard drive that can hols 916 GB. Out of the 107 GB, I can account for 72 GB: 41GB - Documents; 17 GB - Windows; 5.4 GB - Program Files; 6.5 GB - Program Files (x86) and 2.2 ProgramData.

So my question is a simple one. How ought I set up my cloud backup routine? So far, I've been:
-- noodling around the backup options,
-- visited the cloud storage that's added to each Friday to find out that it's full,
-- then whittled it back to 171 GB used, without figuring out just what's up there.
-- clicked on the question mark on my opened Acronis program on my computer, but not found much that seems useful in the nature of "THIS IS HOW THE VANILLA SMALL USER WHO HAS HAS HIS OWN COMPUTER SINCE 1986 BUT CAN'T FIGURE OUT ACRONIS OUGHT TO MANAGE HIS CLOUD STORAGE."

So, How ought I set up my cloud backup routine? Thanks.

Hello Charles,

thank you for your question and welcome to Acronis Forum!

You can set up the backup to Cloud the same way as to local storage. The only difference is that not all backup options are available.

The first time you start a backup process all selected files are backed up, all further backup processes add only changes made to files.

If you experience lack of storage space, please configure cleanup settings for your backup plan.

Thank you.
