File backup categories

Thread needs solution

I was trying to create a new category for files of type .VIP, but when I clicked on "Add category" nothing happened. I kept trying this for a while but eventually gave up and closed TIH. The next time I opened it, I had a huge number of custom categories called "My category 1" through "My category 64". I was able to edit one of them to add my desired file type, and rename it to "VIP files", but I still have all those other empty entries. How can I delete them?

I have True Image 2012 with the exact same problem - being unable to delete category's "My category 1 - 8" read under help that it is possible but as of yet don't know how. The following is what it says under help:

Data categories The program allows you to back up files by categories. When selecting the file category(ies), you automatically select for backup all files of associated types found on the computer's hard drives. You can use the following default categories: Video, Music, Images, Finance, E-Books, and Documents. Furthermore, you can add any number of custom categories containing files and folders. The new categories will be saved and displayed along with the above. You can change the contents of any custom or default file category (edit the category) or delete it. The default file categories cannot be deleted.
