Can I get list of when file was changed?

Thread needs solution

I haven't had to restore individual files very often and I don't know of all the capabilities of ABR 11.5, so I'm hoping someone can enlighten me.

My backups are Full/incrementals. Is there a way to get a list of dates when a file has been modified, since ABR has to do this to add to an incremental backup.

Using Vault > Data View > (Show) Folders/Files and then updating the catalog...
I can select a specific file I am interested in. However, as shown in the attachment, the "Versions" shows all the Full/Incremental backups that the file (Nishi_HowTo_AddPrinter.xls) that the file is located in. It does not indicate when it was changed.

In this example, the file was changed 2 times. So what I would like to see is a list that would have 3 items: the original and the 2 changed versions.

Is there a way to do this? If not I would have to restore multiple versions until I find the one that I wanted. This is inefficient and annoying...

TIA...

Hello B. Hata,

thank you for your posting!

Currently there is no such functionality in the product. I'll put your suggestion into our Customer Listening System.

Thank you.

If you are using windows 7/8, you can enable the system protection (its shadow copy). now if you restore the PC, you have already built it in windows the file history of change.
You can also reset the archive bit after the backup and the ABR will backup only the files that was change from the last backup.
