TrueImageHomeService.exe blocks Outlook 2013
Since a few days TrueImageHomeService.exe is blocking the startup of MS Outlook 2013. When I start Outlook 2013 it hangs on "Loading profile". After some testing with Windows services I foudn that TrueImageHomeService.exe is preventing Outlook 2013 from starting. When I shut down manually the service TrueImageHomeService.exe, then Outlook 2013 starts up normally.
I run daily backup with True Image 2014 of my Outlook profile.
Questions:
- why is TrueImageHomeService.exe blocking Outlook 2013 from starting (before a few days it did not)
- After manually shutting down TrueImageHomeService.exe, i can't restart this service. Because shutting down this service means other plannend backups are not executed anymore. I have to Restart the PC.
- Somebody knows a solution for this problem?
I run Windows 8.1 x64.

Hi,
This is already the case. The service only starts when there is a planned backup to run. After my daily backup of Outlook, this service stays in memory and i have to shut it down manually to be able to start Outlook.
The trouble is, that when i kill this service to be able to start Outlook 2013, that no other planned backups are performed until i restart Windows 8.1.

How did you test Windows Services? Did you access the Services and view the TrueImageHomeService and see if it is set to run in Auto or Manual?
