I would like to know if Acronis True Image 11 Home is compatible with Windows 7.

Although with the latest builds you may experience system hangs and other problems...

I have used True Image Home 2010 (build 5055 ) to try to clone a bootable Win7 disk (booting off my True Image 2010 CD) and, while the cloning process completes without incident, the resulting cloned disk will not boot. It hangs at the "Starting Windows" screen (the screen with the four-color logo).
When I try to reboot again, the computer goes to the screen announcing "Windows did not start normally" and asks me if I want to start normally or reboot with my Win7 installation disks and repair. That same screen also reports this message:
0xc000000e the boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible
If I then boot off my Win7 install disk and launch the repair utility, Win7 reports that a problem has been detected and will be repaired. I follow the prompts and restart my now "repaired" drive and the same thing happens: the bootup stalls at the logo.
This is the same problem I had with True Image 11 (build 8101). I have no problems using True Image 11 to clone my Vista and XP computers. I am unable to clone my Win7 disk with either True Image 11 or 2010.
I expected my Win7 problem would be solved when I used True Image 2010, but no such luck.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Roman, while I'd hope this is true :), the question in this thread is asking whether ATI 11 Home is compatible with Windows 7.
I, too, am curious as to finding the answer to this, but more specifically in the bootable environment - both full disk backup and restore functions on either 32 or 64 bit machines - as opposed to its functionality as an app in Windows 7.

Steve
