xp crash with ATH 2013
Hi,
Very disapointed, using ATH since long time, today I have got big issue.
XP SP3 ATH2013 bld 5133
Last scheduled disk backing makes pc froze.
When I re-start I have got MBR error
Using TI rescue media CD recovery is not possible, it say that my backed files are corrupted (in ASZ, and on other spare disk)
I can not use windows install disk repaire because it asks me adm PW and I forgot it.
When I boot on TI rescue cd and click menu on Windows, I exit and Windows start, without TI rescue pc do not start (MBR error)
I download TI 2013 bld 6514 and trying to install only give me "failed to install corrupted files" ( or something like this)
Trying to desinstall TI 2013 bld 5133 also failed
what can I do more ?
Thks

Thank to reply
I do that, but that does not cure.
Meanwhile I found my Windows adm pw and entered repair option.
did fixmbr and fixboot c: did not cure.
I boot on TI rescue and manage to recover a tib file on an ext usb drive.
I tick system disk (C) and mbr, It procreeded well, but always MBR error 1!
I can boot and run Windows only if i boot with the Windows installation disk present.
What more, this, ATI on HDD launch but scratch quickly, "sorry ....."
Hitachi HDT721064SLA360 is primary active disk (C)
HDT722525DLA380 is a data disk
SAMSUNG HM160JI is a extdisk wilch contain full backup tib files
Question while I get "the older of this product cannot be removed because it seems to be corrupted" when I want to install bld 6514 ?
2 files attached.
Please help, Thanks
Denis.

Boot from the Windows Repair disk and choose a command prompt
From the prompt, check the disk for errors.

Thanks Grover for reply,
I was out for some time far away from my PC.
I managed to recover a hold backup with TI12 and i discovered that bios booting disk was not pointing to my c: hhd.
I cannot figure out how that happened.
Best regards.
Denis.
