TrueImage 2010 v5,055 still gets BSODs on SD card insertion. That is the latest version unfortunately.
Looking forward to a fix.
Thanks.

I would suggest opening a new topic on this issue the "Acronis True Image" forum. True Image 2010 is a different product from Backup and Restore.

Hey everyone,
I was about to install the latest build of Backup and Recovery 11133 and saw Courtney's post about attaching an Ipod. I have been following the many different threads related to this problem and decided to chime in.
For me the problem has been related to two different products, a Canon MP830 and a Verizon USB Broadband Card (usb760).
My first round BSOD's was tracked down (based on BSOD message) to my Canon MP830. At this point I thought it was a problem with my Canon printer so I just left it unconnected and did not troubleshoot any further.
Fast forward a month to my second round of BSOD's. This time I started to get the BSOD's while away from my office with nothing connected except my Verizon USB Mobile Broadband Card (USB760). Everytime I connected the Verizon USB card I got a BSOD. This time I did some research and found from the Windows dumps that it was caused by snapman.sys. When I got back to my office I tried the Canon printer again and found snapman.sys was causing the BSOD's while the printer was connected.
So now I am left with two devices I cannot use. Today, October 29th, I finally had the time to see about a fix and checked the many threads related to this problem. I saw the Acronis post about build 11133 and thought I could finally get past the problem until I read Courtney's post about their Ipods.
At this point I don't know what to do as I don't want to install the latest build for fear of causing more problmes with my laptop (Dell Latitude D820). Has anyone seen any further problems with build 11133 beside Courtney? My thoughts right now are to completely rebuild my laptop and move onto a different product alltogether. I cannot afford to have my laptop down which is why I purchased the product from Acronis.
What do you do when the software you count on to protect your laptop causes your laptop to go down?

I just upgraded my Windows 7 PC (32bit) to ABR 10 v.11133 and it would not work. Repeated errors about the Managed Machine Service. Unplugged my ipod and the error went away. Any word when an additional update might be coming?
Thanks,

Same here! I have brand new Windows 7 Pro (32bit) and Acronis Backup and Recovery Workstation 10 v311133 install. Had the iPod attached for 2 hours. While I had it connected syncing, i poked around and noticed the Managed Machine Service was continuously trying to start. It fails and retries continuously. I made sure the Acronis Agent User was all set up correctly and nothing I did would correct the issue. I unplugged the iPod... no more error.
