Managing space on a backup drive

Thread needs solution

I have a 1 TB external drive I dedicate to backups from a single computer.
The other day, it ran out of space. Does Acronis not have a way to manage the backup drive? My old program, Ghost, allowed the user to say only use some % of the drive space. Once you hit it, it would allow you to automatically or selectively delete older backups. Is there a way to do this in Acronis, either automatically or manually?

Thank you.

Of course. You may set such retention options when you create a backup task. Likely you did not set those options. You may create a new backup task with your desired settings.
