Acronis B&R 10 SBS - Not possible to connect to NAS

Thread needs solution

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

I installed the Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 as a test version on our Win 2008 SBS Server - successfully!

The problem is when i try to connect the B&R to our NAS (DLINK DNS 323 - newest Firmware) the program always says that the given user/pw would be wrong.. - but user/pw are correct - i tested it several times! Another "Feature" is that it's not possible to connect the NAS via FTP. It's connecting for about 1 sec. - flickering - and then: nothing..

What i've done:

- checked all user/passes
- tried to connect via ftp / network share
- switched the SBS 2008 Local Security Policy to: &LM- und NTLM-Antworten senden (NTLMv2-Sitzungssicherheit verwenden)
- tried to create a depot

..-> no success .. :(

Who can help me?

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help.
1) Try to manage a backup plan specifying the IP address of your NAS drive (for example, \\IP address\backup folder\).
2) You can also use a pre backup command to mount the mapped drive for an Acronis scheduled task:
- Download map.drive.txt;
- Follow instructions in Using Batch Files in Acronis True Image.
 
3) To have write access to a NAS, however, you may need to provide credentials
On the Create backup plan screen, tick off Advanced view. Click Change next to Access credentials under Where to back up.
Provide username and password for the Linux NAS.

About the FTP server.
- FTP-server must allow passive mode for file transfers.
- It is recommended that you change the source computer Firewall settings to open ports 20 and 21 for both TCP and UDP protocols and disable the Routing and Remote Access Windows service.
