Upgrading from True Image Home v11 to 2010

I am a long time user of Acronis, and mostly have been happy with the software.
I am currently running TI v11 on an XP computer and also on a Windows 7 one. I would like to upgrade to TI 2010, but after reading several posts on this forum on some of the nightmare stories in 2010, I am reluctant to do so.
Is 2010 stable enough that I can trust it with my valuable data, or do you guys recommend I stay with v11 until the problems have (hopefully) been resolved
