ATIH 2010.6053 causing BSOD in Win7 64bit after starting backup

Thread needs solution

Hi all

I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help as this is driving me nuts so much I am genuinely thinking of dumping ATIH2010

Under XP I had ATIH 2010.6503 running sweet for my evening backups, now I have a new PC with W7 and it causes a BSOD every evening just after the task runs.

The task starts, then crashes, the .tib file created is only 127M or so but it is created.

The backup .tib target is the same old trusty Maxtor 320G USB external HDD I always used. No hubs involved.

So far i have done many install/uninstall and went round the houses.

Drastic steps, I even just installed the OS only, MSO2003, Sage 2010 and my EDA s/w from fresh and and thats all OK.

Install ATIH 2010, setup a task and wham, for sure every morning I see a login screen after a crash.

Task set for 23:00 each day, doing a full partition backup (2x1TB drives in RAID0), task reckons its 70GB in size, so I set to diff backups x 5, then create new backup. Nothing funky here. Drive config same as before, just bigger.

The only error in them log is a E:6008 "previous system shutdown at 23:00:12 on ‎22/‎02/‎2010 was unexpected."

Any suggestions folks, I am pretty new to W7 which i have been told is similar to Vista (skipped the whole Vista era completely) so up till a few weeks back, I have been entirley on an XP platform.

BR, John

Did you apply the newer SnapAPI file to True Image? Check other messages for where to get it if you haven't.
