I am running windows 8.1. I try to start Acronis 2014 to see the status of my backups or to do a backup. I get the dreaded spinning wheel and Loading please Wait. After hours it does not go away.
This means I cannot use the program. HELP PLEASE.

By the way, I even did a restore from a previous day and still the same message.

I just tried the 2015 trial with same result. They blew it big time. Some change to Windows 8.1 has caused this and they did not do a good test is my opinion. Know I am stuck and have to go back to the inferior Windows IMAGE. At least that works. I suppose I could use the bootable disk, yeaahhh right.

Restore of an image still works thank god.
