having problems uninstalling!

So, my hard drive is going out and I know this but can't get a new hard drive atm. Went to Acronis and used trial offer and ghosted os. Trial version expired a few days ago. Today I went and bought a harddrive that comes with cloning software. HaHA! the cloning software is Acronis! So since I already have it installed on my pc, I can't get it thru WD, the maker of my hard drive. WD's tech support said uninstall it, and then we will reinstall it thru their website. OK! We keep trying to uninstall and almost halfway thru it pops up something about my INSTALL wont work, so we close that box and go back to programs and features, and try to uninstall Acronis again. Gets stuck 1/3 of way thru again, 3 times. The tech finally said call Acronis and see if they can uninstall it, then go to our website and reinstall it from there etc etc. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it to uninstall completely? Thanks for your help! (At this point, after having closed that blue window telling me something is wrong with my INSTALL for the 3rd time, when i now go to uninstall Acronis it tells me please wait while current program is finished uninstalling or changes made) any ideas
