after successful restore C system partition - all my D Logic partition disappeared and erased ?!

Thread needs solution

Yesterday i first time tried to restore my 1st backup that I have done 4 weeks ago,
The backup was of my C system partition that fixed with D Logic partition on the same HDD.
After the restoring process finished successfully of my C backup , my D Logic partition disappeared and erased…
Also the unallocated part of the disk volume disappear, all the volume turned to C system.
This never happened in my 2014 version.
I downloaded Partition recovery software, and it find the missing D partition, but it alerted that it cannot being recovered because of it sits on C partition volume…
Would you please help me to recover my D partition with all my Private Data ,
And explain me why my D partition erased while restoring C system partition successfully ?!

I can see this possible explanation:
I cannot explained what happened. I doubt this is a bug with the software. Possibly an issue with your MBR.
Typically, you would see your results when:
- the backup didn't contain the D partition, because it was done before the D: partition was created (common situation), or because the operator didn't include it in the backup (even more common)
- and, during the restore process, the operator selected the disk level instead of the single C: partition. If it is not the case, ATI would ask where to put the partition, and the operator would have to select some unallocated space on the disk. If the disk is blank, the entire disk is proposed. If there is a partition, your D: partition, the operator would see it.
In that case, ATI would scale C: to take over the entire disk.

Wrt to recovery, you will have to find some software or service to help. This is a bad case, have low expectations and be ready to spend top dollars.
