Need help recovering valid disk backup using Acornis 2013 Plus Pack
I found a archived backup I need to get my computer running again but am having problems getting it to work. I am using TI 2014 build 6614. Can this valid backup that was most likely made with Acronis 2013 Plus Pack Bundle be recovered using the 2014 version? Or do I need the Acronis boot for the 2013 Plus Pack to recover with? I do have both but can't seem to figure out why this won't recover. I have tried three times and am either setting up the recovery page wrong or something in the process. Can someone please walk me through the steps of this recovery setup page?
It seems if I boot with 2013 I get a completely different image picture than with 2014. It will reinstall but I still am getting the BSOD indicating Stop 0x0000007B or INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE as stop error code in all attempts. I was of the opinion, and have recovered previously from other years, that the disk image was a complete safe copy including all these startup boot sectors. Can someone help me or explain to me how to fix this issue since I do have a valid disk backup of the OS and factory recovery partition with MBR also. It seems the recovery setup page wants to use Disk One, Disk Two, and Disk Three nomenclature to set this up, when simply this is just one hard drive involved with the OS C partition and the Factory Recovery D partition on this backup as well as MBR.
This "recovery page" setup starts asking for setting location and this is what I don't understand as I have to set location for these three items included in the disk backup when opened up to look at. I have no idea what to do nor is any help info available showing this instance of recovery situations. Please help as I am ready to do a factory restore and say the heck with it. I can't believe it can be this difficult to restore an imaged backup and get back up and running. I think part of the trouble is that Acronis needs to find out where each one of these archives is, and is treating them separately instead of as one. I cannot understand this and this is where I am puzzled. I have no idea of what to do.
