The disk is full.
Hello.
I have used Acronis True Image 2014 throughout the entirety of last year without problematic issues.
However, after updating from TI 2014 to TI 2015 successfully, I began my new full disk backup last night selecting "Add Backup"; browsing to TI's usual, previous storage networked path (stored on a Western Digital NAS device which still has 1.3 tb of space left. I selected the Shut down checkbox before leaving the computer for the night.
I This morning I woke up to an Acronis message box detailed as follows:
"Confirmation
The disk is full.
You must free additional disk space to continue. You can either empty the Recycle Bin or delete old data files.
To specify another location, click Browse.
RETRY CANCEL BROWSE..."
First selecting RETRY provided no relief. So, I selected again the BROWSE option and carefully reselected the networked path to my WD Nas device finally to the full backup's proper file folder. Shortly after, Acronis TI 2015 threw up the same message box as stated above.
So, might there be something I am missing here which, in the previous TI 2014 version was so simple?
Thanks in advance,
David

David,
If I read correctly, you have added a 2014 backup to set up your 2015 task? I encourage you to create your 2015 task anew and in a directory different from your 2014 backup directory. See if the problem subsists.
Make sure you can recover your backups from your WD NAS. I was using a WD MyCloud to store 2014 backups. They could be created and validated from Windows just fine. But recovery from the recovery disk would always fail.
